Community Safety Event at Galleons Lock Estate : Sun 16 Aug 12:30

I wanted to bring to your attention the attached London Fire Brigade Community Safety Event taking place at Galleons Lock Estate on 16 August 2026.

Following a recent conversation with the LFB Governor, they asked whether the Neighbourhood Policing Team could have a presence at the event, either through officer attendance, community engagement, or potentially a crime prevention stall. This would be a 

good opportunity for residents to engage with local police alongside the fire safety and water safety activities being delivered by LFB.

Unfortunately, both Danny and I are due to be on annual leave on that date. I was therefore wondering whether it might be possible for other officers from the team to attend on behalf of the ward.

It could provide a useful opportunity to engage with residents, offer crime prevention advice, discuss local concerns, and strengthen partnership working with the London Fire Brigade.
